Weekly challenge this week from my therapist:
Day #01 - Take 5 minutes out of your day to write down on a piece of paper how you're feeling. Include your ex in it, and write whatever you're feeling, whatever you need to get out.
Day #02 - Read what you wrote out loud.
Day #03 - Get rid of it, however you'd like. Be creative.
I wrote a small letter to my ex, read it out loud, and today drove to a bridge overlooking a small creek about 2 miles from my barracks, burned the letter in a coffee can that I found out wasn't metal and dumped the ashes into the river.
It did exactly what my therapist said it would do.
It made me feel better.
